the Past is a turn-key enterprise. Our team of
experts prepares everything you need for a
successful dig, and tailors the excavation to
your needs and specifications.

We
provide the site - either a structured mound
outdoors or a portable dig -
resembling real archaeological excavations,
including surrounding structures
and placement of artifacts.

We
teach and implement professional archaeological
excavation techniques.
|
|
|
Under the guidance of certified archaeologists,
participants dig and sift through the earth to
recover "ancient" artifacts.
|
|
|
Participants clean, identify, decipher - and
when necessary, reconstruct - their finds.
|
|
|
We
offer additional stations adjacent to the dig
site, including an Archaeological Lab, a
Restoration Station, a Daily Life Station, and a
Hebrew Writing Station, where participants learn
about the language, arts, and daily life of the
past.
